The Embarcadero
The Embarcadero

I lived in San Francisco for a decade before moving to my current home in Puget Sound. It was only after my relocation that I began cherishing those everyday moments in SF and painting them extensively. In this painting, I tried to revoke the feeling of walking along the Embarcadero to grab lunch at the Ferry Building. What makes the angle of the Ferry Building interesting to me are the dichotomy of the old and the modern architectures on both sides of the street, and those iconic palm trees that line up the Embarcadero.
