What kind of subjects can you paint?

I paint a wide variety of subjects, but most known for my landscape and architectural work, street scenes, home portraits and boat portraits. The only subjects I do not offer currently are people and pet portraits.

What are your typical prices for commission work?

The cost range for the most common dimensions are shown below:

  • 10"x7": $150-250
  • 12"x9": $200-400
  • 16"x12": $350-650
  • 20"x14": $600-900
  • 28"x20": $800-1,200

The range reflects the complexity and how many approval cycles are requested by the customer. Odd size dimensions accepted.

Collaboration process

Below you will find the standard process of collaborating with me to bring an idea to life, although modification to the process can be arranged on a case by case basis.

What information should I provide when submitting the request?

For a landscape painting, I'd like to know why it is special to you and what you want to feel when you look at the painting.

For a home or boat portrait, I'd like to know what characteristics you love the most and what lighting/season/atmosphere you'd like for the subject to be situated it.

You can also feel free to request a historic landmark or famous travel destination simply because it reminds you of your favorite trip or someone special.

Please keep in mind that for custom locations, you will need to provide photo references for them.
